It's pretty crazy. I just moved on Saturday, and trying to find a job and a permanent place to live is absolutely insane. It feels so surreal finally being here and it's awesome! I absolutely love the desert and all the mountains around here. This winter is going to be the best ever!!

Maybe I'm just old, but I absolutely refuse to remove adblock from this website, because I remember a time seven years ago when the motivation for joining DeviantArt was that having an account meant you didn't have to deal with ads like the rest of the visitors to the site.

Dang, so much has happened since my last journal, so here are a few updates, all of which are exciting:

1. I WENT TO INDIANAPOLIS COMIC CON AND HAD AN ARTIST'S ALLEY BOOTH WITH MY BOYFRIEND hojtastic AND IT WAS SO AWESOME. We were so exhausted, but sold a lot, and had a ton of fun! I definitely want to make sure to do this again because the experience was absolutely amazing. I met some KICKASS artists at the alley with me, and have many new and awesome followers that I'm so excited to share my art with!

2. I just got contacted by Cuppa Coffee Studios up in Ontario, and I'm going to fly up in two weeks to do a test animation for them!! Hopefully I get the internship! Regardless, I've never been to Canada before, so this is CRAZY EXCITING OHMYGOODNESS!!! Wish me luck!

3. SCHOOL IS ALMOST OUT, THANK GOODNESS. This semester has just been AWFUL and I'm so glad we're done!!

Hey guys!
So after what feels like years, I'm trying to start occasionally posting art here on DeviantArt again. I have a huge problem, though: every time I try to post, DeviantArt gives me a notification and says that it failed to update the description. I thought this would be a temporary bug, but I've tried to submit every day since Halloween, and it looks like it's not going to go away anytime soon. Anyone here know what could be going on?
